Cocktails

I definitely love a good cocktail. I would love to share a few favorite recipes.

Blueberry Sangria

1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries
1 (12-ounce) can frozen concentrated pink lemonade
1 bottle Chardonnay (Pinot Grigio also tastes lovely)
3 cups lemon lime soda
1/2 cup brandy

Directions

In a large pitcher, combine all ingredients and stir. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
I loved this cocktail!

Rum Punch

You may want to double up on this recipe, it is that good!

Ingredients

1 cup fresh lime juice
2 cups grenadine syrup
2 cups white Rum
2 cups pineapple juice
2 cups orange juice
Orange slices, for garnish
Maraschino cherries, for garnish

Directions

Mix all ingredients together in a pitcher or punch bowl. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.  Pour in a pretty glass and garnish with orange slices and maraschino cherries.

Pomegranate Martini

I would like to give props to Roses' Cocktail Infusions Mix at http://www.rosesmix.com/
The Polmegranate flavor is my absolute favorite.

Ingredients
1 part Rose's Pomegranate Cocktail Infusions
1 part Vodka
Shaker
Ice Cubes
Mix 1 Part Rose's Cocktail Infusions Pomegranate Twist and 1 part vodka. Shake with ice and strain into martini glass. Shake well.
Enjoy!

Red Sangria

I tried Sangria a few years ago at a restaurant, then a friend of mine made the best Sangria and I was in love!
I have my own recipe that has gotten plenty of rave reviews.

Ingredients
1 Bottle Red Wine
1 Bottle Brandy
2 cups simple syrup
1 cup orange and apple slices

To make simple syrup: Add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water, mix thoroughly

In a large pitcher add 1 Bottle of red wine, brandy, and 2 cups simple syrup. Stir Well.
Add more or less simple syrup to taste, I like my Sangria on the sweeter side. Add sliced fruit to the pitcher and let chill for 2 hours.

So tasty!
